Why We Use Preservatives in Our Wholesale Lotion
To ensure product stability and a longer shelf life, we include a preservative in our lotion formula. While the word “preservative” can sound concerning, rest assured—we use only safe, skin-friendly ingredients that are far gentler than the harsh chemicals often found in mass-produced products.
Our preservative of choice is Optiphen Plus, a paraben- and formaldehyde-free solution known for its broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection. It helps guard against bacteria, mold, and yeast, while also including a natural humectant that enhances moisture retention—boosting both safety and skin hydration.
